2019 Sale Success

This year's Bull sale on the 5th of June was very successful with a good clearance of bulls with an average price of $8312. The quality bulls were sought after with a top price paid for Lot 3 Hinewaka Balance 49/17 of $23,500. Malcom Helm from Rough Ridge Shorthorn Stud was the successful bidder.

Thank you to all purcahsers for their support and belief in our programme. It was one of our best line-ups of bulls we have offered for sale and we believe that the breed is going from strength to strength. Commercial farmers are rediscovering the power of shorthorns in their breeding programmes to maximise hybrid vigour and gaining the maternal attributes and carcass attributes the breed is reknowned for.
